I have a wealth and variety of work experience from having immersed myself in the television, film, and advertising industries over the past ten years. In that time, I worked in Toronto and Halifax where I developed and strengthened my creative, technical and interpersonal skills in professional environments. These experiences provided me with a solid understanding of media pre-production, production, and post-production processes and techniques, whether on location or in studio.

Some relevant positions I’ve held are Producer, Visual Effects Coordinator, Videographer/Sound Recordist, Television Editor and Film/Television Crew. I have also run my own small video production company, managing multiple projects, where my work ranged from promoting the disability services of the not-for-profit organization, Skills Canada Nova Scotia, to working with a community theatre to produce a short film that screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015.

I have been described as a good communicator, knowledgeable, organized, reliable, and an eager problem-solver who tends to stay calm under pressure. I am accustomed to fast-paced environments and handling client relations with great care and professionalism. I take pride in designing engaging content for projects of various sizes, am equally enthusiastic about producing content on my own as well as being a strong member of a crew, and am capable of creating and adhering to project schedules and budgets. Whether it is a personal project or professional endeavour, my goal is to apply my administrative, technical and creative abilities to translate human experiences into compelling visual stories.
